Join us on Wednesday 9 October for an exclusive Leeds Alumni Voices event with astronaut Matthias Maurer.
The event is accessible to attend in person or can be viewed online (both live and available to watch back).
In 2022 Matthias Maurer (Erasmus Materials Science 1993) spent 177 days on the International Space Station. While orbiting Earth, he helped support roughly 150 experiments from health to materials science. Matthias was one of only 10 successful applicants out of 8,500 candidates who applied to become a European Space agency astronaut. Register to hear a first-hand account of life in space.
